The most common types of solar pool lights are underwater and floating lights. The underwater solar pool lights attach to the pool wall using either magnets, water-resisted glue or screws. They charge during the day and turn on when it's dark. The floating solar pool lights often have a form of a sphere with a small PV module facing the sun. You can either have a LED light giving off a static color like a white light or lights with dynamically changing colors and fluctuation rate. Solar pool lights also differ by their waterproof level. Some of them are intended to float on the water surface while others can be submerged.
