A series of MPPT charge controllers called SmartSolar maximize solar energy harvest by interlligently achieving full battery charge in shortest time possible. As opposed to a separate Bluetooth device, the built-in Bluetooth saves space and allows a pairing between the charge controller and your smartphone. Via the VictronConnect smartphone app you can control and monitor the features of your SmartSolar MPPT charge controller. Additionally, if the system is connected to the internet you can leverage the freely available Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal to access the full power of your charge controller anytime you wish. But even if the internet is down you can still access the controller's monitoring data with the optional LoRaWAN device by bluetooth-pairing it with the controller.
