Each Yunlight in-ground light has 5 small bead lamps on its surface - 1 on the center, 4 on the perimeter. This light has a smaller number of LEDs compared to others but it gives bright upwards light rather that illuminating around it. This may or may not be the effect you are looking for. The advantage of Yunlight is that the stakes are made of heavy molded plastic which gives robustness to them when it comes to sticking them into the ground. Yunlight ground solar lights are IP65 waterproof which prevents the moist getting into the electronic board which would render the lights useless. The length with the stake on is 5.1" (13 cm); the disk's diameter is 4.5" (11.6 cm).

Sunlit in-ground solar lights have 8 LEDs on each light providing 40 lm brightness. These solar lights give off a warm white light, that is, the light has more of a daylight tone. Other brands exist that provide a cool white color of light which has a more bluish tone to it. It's a matter of taste which color you like. These flat solar lights are aimed at sticking into the ground near walkways, driveway, etc. If you dig deep enough holes you can flush these lights with the ground level, you'd need to dig holes before mounting the lights. Before inserting the spike into the hole you'd need to switch on the on/off switch at the back of the light. These are IP65 waterproof lights so even torrential rains will not damage them. Just make sure you don't mount them in a shaded area for the solar module to get enough sunshine. When charged for 6 - 8 hours they last 8 - 10 hours of lighting at night.
